Lisa Hemi, CPA, CA is a results-driven Chief Financial Officer with deep expertise in finance & accounting, administration and business operations. With 30 years of experience, she has worked with small, medium and large-sized companies, across many industry groups.
Being a seasoned professional in finance and accounting and strategic partner with the leadership team, Lisa has held CFO and other senior-level finance positions, as well as working with companies as a Fractional CFO. She supports client’s success with her expertise in the following areas:
- Financial oversight – daily & weekly transactions, financial reporting & analysis (month/quarter/annual), reporting packages, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, payroll
- Cashflow analysis & management – daily & weekly cashflow monitoring, optimize working capital, accounts receivable management & collections, accounts payable management
- Leadership – manage, support and oversee accounting & finance individuals and teams, problem solve, liaison with internal & external stakeholders, strategic planning & growth
- Process optimization – process flow evaluation & analysis, development, automation, improvement, streamline, recommendation, implementation
Lisa is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario) and Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada) and started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.
