Sofía was born in the north of Spain, in Bilbao, although she grew up on the outskirts of Madrid. She is a huge fan of Spanish culture—its food, its people, its landscapes, and all the amazing activities and experiences it offers. However, her curiosity about the world has led her to live abroad and have international experiences that have deeply shaped the way she sees life.   

Sofia earned a degree in Protocol, Event Planning, and Corporate Communication, followed by a Master’s in Marketing and another in Business. She has worked in several marketing agencies and at a company that specializes in corporate events and weddings. While studying, she discovered that events were her true passion, and being able to work in this field is truly a dream come true. She loves how dynamic the job is, how every day is different, the amazing people you meet, and most of all, the satisfaction of seeing the impact of each event. It’s a demanding environment but incredibly rewarding. 

Outside of work and travel, Sofia is a very family-oriented person and makes it a point to keep in touch everyday even while far away. She enjoys good food as well as working out! She claims to be not much of a cook -but is a fan of her mom’s cooking which will always be one of her favorites in the world.
